Support Don Lehn/Independent Media

Hard knocks. I’ve had a few. Many of you know about my past, my mistakes and my reinvention(s). I consider myself lucky to have survived. I pay it forward whenever I can. I’m dealing with a few ‘new’ hard knocks. The digital news business I created is in a downward cycle despite my working seven days a week. I’m struggling to pay my rent and bills. Peanut the cat needs feeding and the odd trip to the vet. He is the de-facto GM of FVN ). I want to keep FVN Fraser Valley News in the Valley vibrant and viable. Independent media has its challenges and I am constantly battling with corporate media giants (I, too, used to work for some of them)  I’m also looking for new ways to use my digital skills to communicate out to you all (that includes chillTV). But, for now, I’m in a bind.

With 40+years media experience and I am about to turn 60, This is not the time to quit on the dream.

To quote Tom Petty, "I Won't Back Down", but no one does it alone. I learned that lesson! Can you spare a few dollars to keep the dream going?
