Tragic loss of Father and Colleague.

With great sadness, we announce the sudden loss of our dearest colleague Sisay Shiferaw, a beloved member of the EU Delegation to the African Union. Sisay was working as an IT Officer, making sure the delegation’s operation ran smoothly. He was humble, caring, and always ready to lend a hand when called upon.

This sudden news shocked everyone that knew Sisay. He was a father of three bright boys aged 9, 7 and 4. As he was the only breadwinner for the family, his sudden death places his family in financial distress. His wife has a disability, and his eldest son has diabetes, needing a continuous lifetime follow-up.
