MTS Girls Basketball Uniforms

The inner-city Minneapolis Charter School, called Minnesota Transitions Charter High School (MTS) is in need of girls basketball uniforms so they can have a team this season.

The students at MTS are some of the most at-risk kids in the entire state of Minnesota. 98% of the kids at MTS live at or below the poverty line. Many are homeless.

Yet despite their tough circumstances, these students are showing courage by staying in school instead of dropping out and living on the streets. The kids are daring to dream of a better life and are actively working hard to change their circumstances in life.

MTS would like to field a Girls Basketball Team this year to help foster the young women's self-esteem and self-worth.  Studies show that increased value of self correlates to an increased academic performance.  The school doesn't have funding in their budget for these girls to be able to have uniforms so they can field a basketball team.  This fundraiser is designed to ensure that these brave young ladies have the same opportunity to participate in a sport that other girls at most other schools have.  They need your help.

Would you please consider a one-time donation of $10 or more to help these girls have uniforms so they can play on a team this year?

On behalf of the girls at MTS whom you are benefitting, thank you for your bountiful generosity.
