On the 29th of July 2018 my best friends family was torn apart forever. Without answers, without warning.
Adam John Malone (25) woke up next to his fiancé and babies on the morning of the 29th of July like any other morning.
He would get ready for work, kiss his very much so adored family ( daughter Kendall Debbie born 19/02/2015 , Son Jaxon Stephen born 12/10/2017 and beautiful fiancé Courtney Marie Richards (20), wave goodbye and head to work.
But that day was very very different.
It was close to your knock off time and your little family that you never stopped speaking about, were waiting for you to come home for dinner..
Not knowing that their amazing daddy and the absolute love of Courtney's life wasn't coming home again.
At around 6:30 7:00pm they received a call from Adams boss stating Adam was involved in a serious work accident involving his truck. Nothing else was known at the time other then the fact that he was conscious. Court waited and waited to know something, anything.
At 8:00pm Adams dad arrived as he was aware that there had been an accident.
Within 5 minutes, a police officer also arrived.
Courtney, Kendall, Jaxon, Stephen and Brodie’s lives where shattered.
It was then Courtney was broken the news that her soulmate, rock and best friend did not survive the accident. At that moment Courtney collapsed and all she could do was scream and cry.
How? Why? So many questions that will forever remain unanswered. How is this fair? Why him? How does Courtney begin to explain this to Kendy.
He won't get to be there for Jaxon's first steps, he won't get to be there to see Kendall's first day of school, he won't get to see the day Jaxon eats without his tube.
What about Kendall's first crush or Jaxons first word?
All these are milestones a daddy should see and I am so so sorry that you won't get to share them with him beautiful girl.
But Adam wasn't just any other lad.
He would have had to have been the most loyal, caring, loving, protective family man , Anyone would have had the honour to meet.
The way he looked at his fiancé and kids was an image that NO ONE could ever forget. The pure love.
His family where his best friends.
Before Christmas of 2016 Adam was diagnosed with 6 blood clots, their beautiful family had nearly lost him then, but he faught and held on for his family.
After so so many battles that Adam and Courtney have been through together, including almost losing their beautiful baby boy Jaxon after he was born with a rare medical condition ( 22q ).
Battle after battle their family stuck together and if anything, got SO Much stronger.
You could see in his eyes Everytime he looked at them CLEAR AS DAY the love, respect and appreciation he has for his family.
There is absolutely nothing that can be said to take all your pain away and there is absolutely nothing that can be done to stop you feeeling like this.
But we can try help make life a little easier for Jaxon, Kendall and Courtney.
By raising money for your beautiful family you will have the help you need with Jaxons medical expenses and hospital travel expenses, Kendall's schooling and help give you and the babies the future you all so much deserve.
I have never met anyone as strong as you Courtney, the way you hide ALL your pain the second your babies need you, The way you explain things to Kendall when she asks difficult questions. You have just done so well baby girl, and all of us could not be any prouder. We all love you so so much. I hope this helps you beautiful.
