Meal on Wheels for Helena West Helena Dogs is a one woman rescue in Helena Arkansas. I have rescued over 600 dog off the street of this community in seven years. Our vet bill is currently $10,000 (mostly from boarding costs). It costs $100 per day for 4 dogs. I am seeking a home/yard/fencing on mulitple acreage for this program. I have found several locations that are promising. I want to raise this money to put down on a home and also use it for fencing. This money will be put in a savings account until we find the perfect location. All donations are tax deductible. Our vet is Delta Regional Animal Hospital at 8705727980 if you would like to verify our vet bill or need a reference for my character. The more money we raise, the less the monthy mortgage payment will cost us per month.
So many dogs will benefit from having our own location. It will keep us from having sky high vet bills. The dogs will not be rushed to leave. They will stay there until they are either fostered or adopted out. They will have plenty of room to run and play.
