Future for Tanya's family

Tanya was diagnosed in 2007 with an oligo brain tumor at the age of
32. Four surgeries, 2 rounds of radiation, 2 rounds of chemotherapy,
and a clinical trial have left her with no further medical options. Her
doctors estimate her time left with us to be very short.
Since her diagnosis, she has diligently worked to raise money for
research and cures, and she continues to fight as hard as she can,
suffering challenges and disappointment with courage, dignity, grace
and, of course, her unending sense of humor. She continues to be
touched and loved by so many devoted friends and family, who want to
help in this difficult time, and she is tremendously grateful to all of you
who continue to pray and send their thoughts and good wishes.
To help this young family – Tanya, Scott and their two daughters,
Megan aged 13 and Allison aged 12 – we have set up a GoFundMe
Account. Even though they have always lived frugally and saved for this
inevitable time, Scott has been burning through his disability, sick and
vacation leave, and using their savings through the years of Tanya’s
illness. Now, he stays full-time at Tanya’s side lovingly taking care of
her, parenting the girls, and maintaining the household. Because they
have the same bills we all face, we are opening this account to enable
those of you who are able and would like to make a donation to lift a
bit of the family’s monetary burden. We’d like to add that neither Scott
nor Tanya would ever ask for this on their own; they have never
complained or worried aloud about finances. We have decided on our
own to open this fund to help.
