My name is Addie, <strong>I am a current sophomore at Fishers High School and I’m a proud and active FFA officer with a passion for agriculture and animal science.</strong> I’ve been given the incredible opportunity to compete in my state’s Agriscience Fair, where I’ll be conducting a research project on how supplements impact piglet growth.

<div>Starting November 12th through February 12th, I’ll be studying two Tamworth piglets—one on a standard meal-based diet and the other with added probiotics and supplements. I’m transforming our family shed into a warm, safe space for them during the cold Indiana winter, which means heat lamps, bedding, and other essentials will be necessary. I’ll be measuring and recording their growth daily to ensure precise, accurate data.

<div><strong>The total cost of my project is $828, and I’m reaching out for your support to help make this research possible.</strong> At the end of the study, the piglets will be rehomed to a trusted family farm.
