JustFutsal Lismore Jets - World Championships

The JustFutsal Lismore Jets have qualified for the  World Futsal Championships in Orlando, Florida held in July 2019. 

The Northern Rivers team beat clubs from the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Toowoomba and Brisbane when competing in the Queensland Futsal League sanctioned, Johnny Warren Cup, in late 2018.  They represent Just Futsal NSW which is a local Futsal Academy operating out of Lismore and Byron Bay, NSW.

Established in 2014, the World Futsal Championships are held each summer at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida.  Featured on ESPN SportsCenter, the event stands as the largest international youth futsal tournament in the world; providing players with the rare opportunity to be seen by professional coaches and scouts.  In 2014, FC Barcelona coaches extended an invitation to an American player from Dallas to go on trial with the club.
