Furthering the dream

Donation protected
Help further my racing dream by helping me fund things such as tires, parts and cameras. Any amount of money donated goes directly towards my racing and never towards a personal payment.

Why should you help me?
How many adults can sit around and say that they got to live their dream when they were a teen/young adult? I'm trying to make the best of what I can at my age. I just recently turned 12 years old and have only been racing in the real world since April of 2013. I've had seat time to know that it's what I love. I'm passionate about racing and I am lucky enough to have the support of my family, but that's not enough. As anyone in the business can tell you, it ain't cheap.

In my first race ever in the real world, I was battling a carburetor 'float' problem to where there would be a small delay when I would press on the throttle. Sometimes, the throttle would cut out entirely. Experiencing all of these problems, for my first race ever I started dead last an entire stretch behind the pack I came back up to finish fourth, less then 4 feet behind the third place finisher. After the race I worked on the carburetor with my father and fixed as much as we could with the carburetor but still was experiencing a small delay when getting on and off the throttle and during the week we went through and repaired as much as we could with the carburetor.

For my second and third race I finished in the Top 5 for both of them. Unfortunately for my fourth race I made a rookie mistake and hit the wall, which put me out of the races from April to November 2nd.

On November 2, 2013 I was fortunate enough to go racing for my birthday. Excited about the opportunity to get back into the car I began working on the car some more during the week. I reassembled the front left axle and put the tires back on. Cleaned the engine and changed the oil and oil filter. We loaded it up on Saturday and hit the track. During the wait time for practice we began working on adjusting the camber and toe. When adjusting the RF we observed that the spring was pushed in more then we had originally saw, which would in the end result eliminate the ability to put camber into the tire, which any oval driver knows is vital. Our tires were old, had 4 races on them and had lost most of it's grip. We put in experimental tire pressures and got ready to hit the track for practice.. When I began to pull out from the garage slab the car immediately bogged down and stalled. After six attempts to correct the gear problem it was abundantly clear that we missed practice. With the help from a bunch of crew guys we pushed it back to our slab and began looking at the problem. With the assistance from another racer we isolated the problem and quickly repaired it. Instantly I had all the gears I was missing, except they were in different locations. Excitedly I buckled back up, turned it on and went into line. I started in sixth position and immediately after the green flag waved I could tell I was in for a battle. The car was wanting to push up the track and it had little drive off for Turn 4. I battled with the car as I found the sweet spot and managed to pull an amazing line into Turn 1 and out of Turn 2. I struggled mostly out of 4 and could not figure out a fast line with the way the car was set up. I held on for a sixth place finish and immediately began looking around at the setup. We made adjustments and was ready for the last run of the day when they called it off due to the time.

Now the reason why I went into all of the above details is to show you that I have turned laps in a real car, I have a strong passion and drive for it so you know your money will be going to someone who would truly appreciate it and would do his best to make you proud. If I'm given the ability to fix up my car, possibly move up a branch I feel like I could do so much more then what I have. I'm sincerely confident that if given the opportunity to run in better cars than what I did last time, I'd be able to make a name!

What's in it for you?
Depending on which package you choose you could get entered to win a signed hero card or you could be a sponsor of the car. You can use your designated areas on the car for personal or business exposure. Fortsch Motorsports reserves the right to decline any obscene or inappropriate comments/images on the car.

I'm so thankful for the opportunities that have been given to me and I am driven to make the most of it. I'm so excited for the future and I hope that one day I can extend my knowledge to someone who is in the same boat as I am. In the future I hope to be able to provide hero cards to those who donate or to those who support me, but right now I can not financially support that and race at the race time. Any and all funds I have go straight to forwarding my racing dream. Even if it's not in the Ministock.
