<div>Unsere geliebte Zazu ist am 13.07.2025 völlig unerwartet über die Regenbogenbrücke gegangen – nach 2 ½ Tagen Kampf, Angst, Hoffnung und letztlich einer herzzerreißenden Entscheidung. Sie ist friedlich in unseren Armen eingeschlafen, umgeben von Liebe, aber mit einem Loch, das sich nicht füllen lässt.

<div>Wer uns kennt, weiß: Die letzten zwei Jahre waren extrem schwer. Wir haben fast 12.000 Euro verloren – nicht durch Luxus oder Leichtsinn, sondern weil wir alles für unsere Tiere gegeben haben. Jeder Cent war für Pflege, Notfälle, Klinikaufenthalte, Behandlungen – aus Liebe, aus Verantwortung.

<div>Zazu war versichert – mit einer OP-Versicherung und allem, was dazugehört. Doch weil keine Operation durchgeführt wurde, übernimmt die Versicherung keinen Cent. Die Klinikrechnung bleibt komplett an uns hängen.

<div>Und als wäre das nicht schon genug, spielt das Schicksal gerade alles andere als gut mit uns: Unsere 11-jährige Katze Tila hat vor einiger Zeit durch eine fehlerhafte Arbeit an einer Zahn-OP ihr rechtes Auge verloren. Nur zwei Wochen später musste eine Not-OP stattfinden, um ihr Leben zu retten.

<div>Jetzt der nächste Schock: Tilas einziges verbliebenes Auge hat eine innere Entzündung. Niemand weiß bisher, woher sie kommt. Es wird ein großes Blutbild gemacht – aber die Angst, dass sie auch ihr letztes Augenlicht verliert, begleitet uns jede Sekunde.

<div>Wir haben lange überlegt, ob wir diesen Schritt gehen sollen. Es fällt uns schwer, um Hilfe zu bitten, aber vielleicht gibt es den einen oder anderen unter euch, der uns mit einem kleinen Beitrag unterstützen möchte – damit wir wenigstens aus dem Minus kommen und die notwendige Behandlung für Tila sichern können.

<div>Our beloved Zazu crossed the rainbow bridge on July 13th, 2025 – suddenly and far too soon – after 2 ½ days of fighting, hope, fear, and finally the most heartbreaking decision of our lives. She passed peacefully in our arms, surrounded by love, leaving behind a hole in our hearts that can never be filled.

<div>Those who know us know that the past two years have been incredibly difficult. We have lost almost €12,000 – not through luxury or carelessness, but because we gave everything for our animals. Every cent went to care, emergencies, hospital stays, and treatments – out of love and responsibility.

<div>Zazu was insured – with a comprehensive surgery policy – but because no surgery was performed, the insurance will not cover a single cent. The entire clinic bill is left for us to pay.

<div>And as if that weren’t enough, fate continues to test us. Our 11-year-old cat Tila lost her right eye due to negligent work during a dental surgery. Just two weeks later, she needed an emergency operation to save her life.
</div>
<div>Now the next blow: Tila’s only remaining eye has developed an internal infection. We don’t yet know the cause. A full blood test is being done – but the fear that she could lose her last eye is overwhelming.

<div>We thought long and hard before making this appeal. It’s never easy to ask for help – but perhaps there is someone out there who could support us, even just a little, so that we can at least get out of debt and ensure Tila gets the treatment she needs.
