Unsere Namen sind Vanessa, Patrick, Delia, Nora, Lukas und Nico und leider hat das Schicksal zugeschlagen. 

Bei unserem Papa wurde Bauchspeicheldrüsenkrebs festgestellt. Vor kurzem waren es noch Bauchschmerzen und Gewichtsverlust, jetzt sprechen wir plötzlich über Chemotherapie, Tumorbiologie und die Hoffnung, dass der Tumor irgendwann vielleicht doch operiert werden kann. 

Der Tumor sitzt leider an einer sehr schwierigen Stelle an wichtigen Gefäßen und kann aktuell nicht operiert werden. Die Ärzte wollen jetzt versuchen, ihn mit einer intensiven Chemotherapie zu verkleinern, damit später vielleicht doch noch eine Operation möglich wird. 

Unser Papa hat sein Leben lang gearbeitet und sich nie wirklich beklagt. Unser Vater war die letzten Jahre selbstständig und die Corona-Pandemie hatte ihm schon finanziell zugesetzt, zusätzlich steckt er auch jetzt noch in einer unschönen Scheidung. Er war immer jemand, der lieber selbst geholfen hat, statt andere um Hilfe zu bitten. Umso schwerer fällt dieser Schritt hier gerade. 

Durch die Krankheit wird er nicht mehr arbeiten können. Gleichzeitig kommen neben der emotionalen Belastung plötzlich unglaublich viele Sorgen dazu finanzielle, organisatorische und einfach die Angst davor, was noch auf uns zukommt... 
 
Mit dieser Spendenaktion möchten wir versuchen, ihm wenigstens einen Teil dieses Drucks zu nehmen. Damit er sich auf seine Behandlung konzentrieren kann und er Luft zum Atmen und für seine Genesung hat. 
 
Die Unterstützung würde helfen bei: 

- laufenden Kosten und Miete 

- Behandlungenmöglichen Spezialkliniken und Zweitmeinungen 

- einfach dabei, ihm in dieser schweren Zeit etwas Sicherheit zu geben

Our names are Vanessa, Patrick, Delia, Nora, Lukas and Nico and unfortunately fate has struck our family. 

Our dad has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Since then, everything has felt somehow unreal. Not long ago, it was just stomach pain and weight loss — and now we are suddenly talking about chemotherapy, tumor biology, and the hope that the tumor may eventually become operable. 

Unfortunately, the tumor is located in a very difficult area near major blood vessels and cannot currently be removed through surgery. The doctors are now trying to shrink it with intensive chemotherapy so that surgery may become possible later on. 

Out dad has worked his entire life and has never really complained. He has always been someone who preferred helping others rather than asking for help himself. That makes this step even harder. 

Because of the illness, he will no longer be able to work. At the same time, alongside the emotional burden, there are suddenly so many worries — financial, organizational, and simply the fear of what still lies ahead. 

With this fundraiser, we hope to take at least some of that pressure off his shoulders. 

So he can focus on his treatment and have the space to breathe and recover. 

The support would help with: 

- ongoing living expenses and rent 

- treatments, possible specialist clinics, and second opinions 

- and simply giving him some security during this incredibly difficult time
