<div>Vor einem Jahr wurde bei meiner Mutter eine aggressive Form von Magenkrebs diagnostiziert. Diese Nachricht hat unsere Familie tief erschüttert. In Bosnien, wo sie lebt, ist das Gesundheitssystem leider nicht darauf ausgelegt, die notwendige Behandlung anzubieten. Nach vielen schlaflosen Nächten haben wir beschlossen, die Hoffnung nicht aufzugeben. Wir haben Ärzte in der Türkei gefunden, die ihr mit einer hochspezialisierten Operation (HIPEC) helfen können.

<div>Wir haben all unsere Ersparnisse aufgebraucht, um die bisherigen Untersuchungen, Reisen und Behandlungen zu finanzieren. Doch nun stehen wir vor einer Hürde, die wir alleine nicht überwinden können: Die Kosten für die lebensrettende Operation übersteigen unsere Möglichkeiten.

<div>My mother is my greatest support in life. She is a woman full of love, strength and hope - a mother who has always been there for us, no matter how hard the times were. But now she needs our help.

One year ago my mother was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stomach cancer. This news has deeply shocked our family. In Bosnia, where she lives, the health system is unfortunately not set up to offer the necessary treatment. After many sleepless nights, we decided not to give up hope. We have found doctors in Turkey who can help her with a highly specialized operation (HIPEC).

We have used up all our savings to finance the examinations, travel and treatments so far. But now we are facing a hurdle that we cannot overcome alone: ​​the cost of the life-saving operation is beyond our means.

We need your support to cover the costs of the operation and aftercare in Turkey. Every contribution helps us to give my mother the treatment she urgently needs.
