Funerale del nostro amato fratello Stefano

Ciao siamo Laura e Paola, sorelle di Stefano, deceduto a 53 anni a Bucarest.

Il nostro amato fratello era una persona meravigliosa, un gran lavoratore, un uomo responsabile e buono. Stefano amava la sua vita, nonostante sia stata costellata dalla prematura perdita dei nostri genitori a causa di lunghe malattie durante le quali si è prodigato per assisterli amorevolmente.

Stefano aveva grandi passioni: lo spazio, i pianeti e le costellazioni, film di fantascienza e documentari storici, cucinare e stare con gli amici.

Il 5 ottobre del 2018, non avendo trovato a Cagliari un lavoro stabile e volendo mettersi in gioco, si è trasferito a Bucarest a lavorare presso un call center italiano.

Aveva inviato il suo curriculum in risposta ad un annuncio trovato online e dopo una serie di colloqui aveva fatto il biglietto ed era partito il venerdi per iniziare il lavoro il lunedi.

Per Stefano la città di Bucarest era diventata casa: aveva trovato una occupazione stabile, amici e viveva in un appartamento in affitto.

Il 28 luglio 2022 si è sentito male improvvisamente ed è stato ricoverato. Dopo due giorni, il 30 luglio è deceduto in ospedale a Bucarest.

Da quando abbiamo saputo la notizia della sua morte noi sorelle ci siamo attivate per rimpatriare la sua salma e farlo riposare nel cimitero di San Michele a Cagliari, vicino ai nostri genitori.

Stefano è tornato soltanto il 25 settembre, giorno in cui si sono celebrati i funerali. La tumulazione è avvenuta il 26 settembre.

In quei due mesi, il suo corpo è stato tenuto in una cella frigorifera presso l'ospedale. Si sono verificati diversi contrattempi e lungaggini amministrativi che hanno ritardato il suo rientro.

L'ultimo viaggio terreno di Stefano è durato 4 giorni, da Bucarest a Cagliari via terra e via mare.

Abbiamo aperto questa raccolta fondi in quanto le spese sono state ingenti.

Ogni aiuto sarà importantissimo.

Io e Paola vi ringraziamo di cuore per ogni atto di generosità e di sostegno che per noi e Stefano rappresentano un atto di vicinanza e di conforto.

Hello. We are Laura and Paola, Stefano's sisters, who died at 53 in Bucharest.

Our beloved brother was a wonderful person, a hard worker, a responsible and good man. Stefano loved his life, despite the fact that it was punctuated by the premature loss of our parents due to long illnesses during which he did his utmost to lovingly assist them.

Stefano had great passions: space, planets and constellations, science fiction films and historical documentaries, cooking and being with friends.

On 5 October 2018, not having found a stable job in Cagliari and wanting to get involved, he moved to Bucharest to work at an Italian call center.

He had sent his resume in response to an advertisement found online and after a series of interviews he had made the ticket and left on Friday to start work on Monday.

For Stefano, the city of Bucharest had become home: he had found a stable job, friends and lived in a rented apartment.

On July 28, 2022, he suddenly felt ill and was hospitalized. After two days, on 30 July he passed away in hospital in Bucharest.

Since we heard the news of his death, we sisters have taken steps to repatriate his body and have it rest in the cemetery of San Michele in Cagliari, near our parents.

Stefano only returned on 25 September, the day on which the funeral was celebrated. The entombment took place on September 26th.

During those two months, his body was kept in a cold room at the hospital. There have been several setbacks and administrative delays that have delayed his return.

Stefano's last earthly journey lasted 4 days, from Bucharest to Cagliari by land and sea.

We started this fundraiser as the expenses were huge.
