Funeral/Burial Arrangements for Patricia Murat

Donation protected
Patricia Murat a single mother, lost her battle to brain cancer on March 28, 2019. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by loved ones. Patricia was an amazing mother, sister, aunt, daughter, cousin and friend. She was very hopeful that she would beat cancer. However, she received devastating news that her treatments were no longer working. They told her that the cancer has spread and they gave her two weeks to live. Patricia was warrior and never gave up her fight, even til the end. She fought a good fight against this cancer.

Patricia was truly one of kind. She was a light to everyone she came in contact with. Her generosity was uncanning. She was well known for her up beat attitude and bright smile. She loved spending time with her daughter, friends and family. She was a single mother with a lot of love, a VERY big personality, and a whole lot of prayer and faith. She raised her daughter on her own and never asked anyone for help. Patricia was determined to give Tene, her daughter, the very best this world has to offer. Patricia loved music and she LOVED to dance. She was a member of Calvary Christian Church in Lynnfield, MA. She was extremely competitive and loved sports. Words truly cannot express the devastation that this tragedy has left on all the people who loved her, and were lucky enough to have known her during her time on Earth. Patricia is survived by her beautiful 11-year old daughter, Tene. During this difficult time we thank you for your kind words and thoughts. She always cared about her friends, and her family. We are at a loss for words, and the world lost a beautiful soul but God gained an angel.

In late August 2017, Patricia began suffering from extreme migraines. In September 2017, after many tests, it was discovered that she had Glioblastoma Brain Cancer. The doctor provided her with a survival time of 6 months to a year. She had her first surgery on September 25, 2017 in attempts to remove the tumor. The surgery was followed with chemo and radiation therapy. She was part of a clinical trial, but unfortunately the tumor came back. She had a second surgery on June 12th, 2018. Despite all of this, Patricia was always in good spirits. She continued to tell family and friends not to worry because she was going to beat this cancer. She was always so strong and optimistic.

Funeral arrangements that family thought might already have been taken care of, unfortunately were not planned. The funds are expected to be paid in full by the family, one week from today. We are asking that anyone willing to donate please do so here. Proceeds raised by this GoFundMe will go towards Patricia’s funeral arrangements, memorial service, burial and headstone. Patricia will be buried in Lynn, MA. If you can, please donate, if not, spread the word. No matter what, please keep her and her family in your thoughts.
