Funeral Services for Cleveland Madi

Hello, my name is April Malone-Young, Child Find Coordinator and Community Based Instructional Teacher at Hattiesburg High School.  On Saturday, January 21, 2017, Hattiesburg, MS was struck by an EF-3 Tornado that wreaked havoc through much of our city.  Sadly, one of our students, Cleveland Madison, lost his life in the wake of this devastating storm when the tornado ravaged through his family home.  A family living well below the poverty line has not only lost all of their possessions but also lost the life of a dear loved one.  Unfortunately, the family does not have the means to pay for funeral/burial costs. Therefore, we are soliciting donations to cover funeral/burial costs. The proceeds will go directly to the funeral home, A & A Memorial Chapel in Hattiesburg, MS.  Because WePay does not pay directly to third parties, i.e. the funeral home, proceeds from the solicitation of donations will be transferred to my personal banking account where a cashier’s check will be obtained for total amount of donations collected and given to the funeral home for payment.  Any proceeds that exceed the total cost of funeral/burial will be used to assist the family in rebuilding.
