My daughter, Christina Gonzalez, passed away on July 3, 2022. Christina's health had been declining in recent years. She had been suffering from diabetes since she was 11 years old, but also had kidney failure and survived four cardiac arrests. She was on dialysis four times a week. She was looking forward to getting a kidney transplant so that she can live a full life, stop going to dialysis and even work. Christina was most excited about becoming an aunt to her soon-to-be-born nephew.

She fought hard through each of her health problems and always made it back. Unfortunately, this time she didn't. My baby has gone to heaven and her sister and I are left heartbroken.

Even with all these health problems, I never imagined losing my daughter so soon. We are trying to raise enough money to be able to bury her near her Grandma. My mom and Christina were very close and my mom even waited until after her birthday to pass away. I know that Christina would want to be near her Grandma.

Mi hija Christina Gonzalez falleció el 3 de julio, 2022. Christina estaba delicada de salud por varios años. Tenía diabetis desde los 11 años, problemas con el riñón y sobrevivió cuatro paros cardiacos. Estaba ansiosamente esperando un trasplante de riñón para poder vivir plenamente, dejar la diálisis y hasta poder trabajar. Pero mas ansiosa estaba por la llegada de su sobrino.

Mi hija lucho fuerte contra todos sus problemas de salud y siempre regresaba. Pero desafortunadamente, esta vez no volvió. Mi niña se fue al cielo y su hermana y yo estamos con el corazón roto.

Aun con todos sus problemas de salud, nunca me imagine perderla tan pronto. Nos gustaría recaudar suficientes fondos para poder enterrarla cerca de su Ama. Yo se que Christina quisiera estar cerca de ella.
