Funeral Service for Tommy Smith ( TJ )
Hello, I am Geneva Robinson, the niece of Marcia Robinson and cousin to Tommy Smith (TJ).
On June 3rd, Marcia held her mother’s hand while she passed away unexpectedly. While preparing for her mother’s funeral, which will take place this Friday, June 25th, Marcia had no idea another tragedy would strike so soon. On Sunday, June 20th, her son, Tommy Smith (TJ), passed away peacefully in his sleep. The last time Marcia talked with her son, they discussed clothes shopping for the funeral. Tommy was set to be a pallbearer for his grandmother.
Tommy was 21 years of age and a son with a fantastic smile, a proud big brother, and an outgoing friend. He attended High Tech High middle school in San Diego, California, and graduated from Central High School in El Centro, California. He was a great basketball player for a travel basketball team, Kali Crew, while in high school. Tommy (TJ) loved his little brother Reese with all his heart, and Reese loved him even more. They loved going to Pacific beach and skateboarding together. Marcia is comforted by the last photo she took of Tommy, praying at her mother's bedside hours before passing.
