Funeral of Michelle Turner

Hi, My name is Shane, I was the partner of Michelle for 25 years, for 18 of which she was registered disabled and I was her carer. Michelle was a beautiful, kind soul who always put others before herself, often to the detriment of her own health. She loved her family and was an enormous animal lover. Our house was like a zoo with all of the menagerie of animals she loved. Shell was a proud women with very old fashioned values, she prided herself on "looking after her man" and caring for her son. Even with her health at it's worst she couldn't be stopped doing things for us (No matter how much we begged) So it breaks my heart that I'm unable to do this one thing for her.

Because we survived on benefits and had no idea this was coming, we never made plans for a funeral. As her health deteriorated we looked into life insurance but no company would insure her. So the cost of even a modest funeral is beyond our finances. I'm at a complete loss to how I'm going to fund it. I've had to swallow my pride and reach out to the kindness of my friends and family, so if Michelle touched your life in any way and you can afford it, I humbly ask for any help you can offer. (But only if you can afford it. The last thing Michelle would want would be you going without for her)
