John Baer Memorial Fund

We are saddened to share the news of the passing of John Baer.  John took his own life on August 2, 2017. He is survived by his three children ages 5, 10, and 12.   The family has many needs at the moment and funds donated to this campaign will be used to cover John’s funeral expenses and ongoing counseling for the children.  They may also be used for other immediate expenses that Joann incurs while working out how to move forward with their lives after this unimaginable tragedy.  Please honor John’s memory in whatever way feels right to you.   

We have all known John to be a happy go lucky guy with a gigantic ear to ear smile.  That is how we will choose to remember him.   Services will be held at Ramsey Funeral Home in Oroville on Wednesday August 9, at 10:00 a.m.

My name is Brenda Gervais.  I have known John over 20 years and am one of Joann's best friends.  I am starting this fund on behalf of Joann and their children.  The funds will go directly to Joann to be used at her discretion.
