Last night, November 23, 2017 at 9:40, we lost one of the kindest souls this Earth has ever known. Terry Lynn Green. She was a single mother of two, fighter for those who did not have a voice, and a friend to all.
Growing up, I had the privilege of getting to experience Terry’s love and generosity through my friendship with her daughter, Tiffany. Terry took me in(along with so many other of Tiffany’s friends & neighborhood kids)and was a guide and a mother. There is not a life she came into contact with that she did not touch and make better. Terry taught us kids what friendship is, what a great mother AND father looked like, and how to always keep pushing forward; even when we really didn’t want to.
In the last few years Terry’s health had begun to deteriorate but she kept her humor and her love for life even after multiple seizures, cancer, & a heart attack; Terry continued to be strong. Because she was one of the strongest woman we knew, just like her daughter.
I tell you all of this about Terry because you need to know how much of an amazing human being she was in this life. How much more she deserved than the cards that were dealt. How she deserves a funeral service. Her two kids can not afford the expenses of a funeral at the moment and they have to make the final decision on soon. We are asking that you look into your hearts and please, help. Help give my friends mother what she deserves. Help give my friend a hand in this difficult time that NO 20 year old should be going through. Even if all you can afford to donate is 5$, that is still SOMETHING.
Terry was a person I wish everyone could have met in their lifetime. She was a person everyone needed. Now her family needs us. Donate, please. Every penny counts.
