Final Expenses for Sonja

As many of you already know, we lost my sister Sonja Martin Amado yesterday. My mom Dorothy lost her second born, and her beautiful children Tamara, Kalee, and Brandie lost their mom and best friend. So many lives have been impacted and our loss is huge.

Sonja was beautiful, educated, and devoted to so many civil rights and humanitarian issues. You never had to question where you stood with her. She made her beliefs about everything in life very clear and I'm going to miss that so much. We all are.

Sonja's employer was in the process of closing, so she had recently lost her job. Because of this, she did not have life insurance for the first time in her life. Sonja's final wishes were to be cremated, followed by a celebration of her life (or as she said: a huge party with no tears.)

Right now we just need help with going to Cincinnati and bringing her home. If anyone is able to help with any amount, We will forever be grateful. Every dollar will help get her home. The money will only be made available to her daughter, Tamara Salazar.
