Funeral for Mercedes Reyes

I, Mercedes' daughter Jamilet am so sad to say that at around 1:30 AM, Friday August 10th, 2018 I received the call from my dad that my mom Mercedes Reyes had lost her battle with cancer and passed away in her sleep.
This would be her second time battling cancer. May of 2012 she began treatment for Breast Cancer and it was only a few short months after she beat cancer.
(This is her and I, May of 2012 for her 2nd round of chemo)
She would remain cancer free and return to her normal life was able to be there with me when I got married in November of 2015.
Unfortunately, a year later in October of 2016 we would receive news that Mercedes' cancer had returned and metastasized to her lung.
She stayed positive and strong while she fought the cancer for months going in and out of hospitals, trying different treatments.
This money would greatly relieve some of the financial struggles. We are gathering as much money as we can across the family but, as you know funerals can be expensive and it would just be such a huge help to give a peace of mind to us all. We are scrambling to put together the funds and we wish to have her put to rest as soon as possible.
We will miss the woman she once was that the cancer took away from us. She was strong, and funny, always doing silly things and always dancing and energetic (and she didn't even drink coffee!). She was kind and always gave even when she had nothing for herself. She was a great mom and always did what she could with what she had.
We are so sad to know she is no longer with us but oh so relieved to know she no longer has to be in pain.
Any amount of money would be the greatest help of all.
All I can do is thank each and every one of you even if you just read this and think of her.
