Funeral for Lois Glass

I am helping my friend James Glass raise money for a funeral for his mother Lois. For those of you who have buried a family member, you know that it is very expensive. James is striving to do as much as possible on his own to bury his mother when the time comes. He is transporting her body, building her casket, and able to purchase some of the smaller necessary items online. Even so, there are some required major expenses. This fundraiser is an effort to raise all of the money that he will need for the burial and a simple service.

UPDATE: James has been able to significantly reduce his costs for the funeral. They are now at $3,100. However, he has learned that the nursing home bill will be far greater than expected. It is expected to be close to $5,000 by the time she passes. We have adjusted the goal for this campaign.
