From the time Joseph "Joey" was a young child, he was always full of life. His smile was infectious and he lived his life with pure joy.
While Joey was celebrating the last day of school with his friends, he was involved in an unfortunate swimming accident. Joey was unable to be revived and survived on life support for two days before his family had to make the decision to take him off support. On June 4, Joey joined Jesus in heaven surrounded by family.
Joey would have been a junior at Naaman Forest High School in Garland for the 2017-2018 school year. He was loved by many including the Buddy League Baseball Program and his church home, Fivestone Community Church.
Joey, along with his brother and sisters, lived with their grandparents, Lois and Larry Pletcher. Lois and Larry have given their lives to serve young families at their church home.
