In November, Joseph was rushed to the emergency room with complications from his COPD. From here he spent 30 plus day in the ICU on a vent and proned 4 times. In the ICU we were so lucky and he survived after getting a trac. From here he fought a few more months and made it to rehab mid January.
In rehab he worked so hard and all he wanted was to come home, travel see his grand kids, and get back to life. He was still in so much pain and struggled with a trac but still he fought. He worked to walk, manage his health, lose 100 lbs, and see and do as much as he could handle.
This week we lost him to his health battle and we thank you for all of you prayers and thoughts. As you can imagine funerals are expensive, while we have a burial plot we don't much other covered and after hospital bills this last year and rehab costs we could use some help. Anything goes a long way and will allow us to lay our loving husband, father, pop-pop and friend to rest.
