Dear Family and Friends:
For those of you who knew my dad, he was the kindest, gentlest, generous man and a devoted husband and father. We didn't have much growing up, but we sure have great memories of a happy life with him and my mom. His family meant the world to him.
It is with a broken heart that I have to tell you that my dad passed away unexpectedly this morning, just 10 days shy of his 89th birthday. As many of you know, he had Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and was in a nursing home since 2016. Up until this past week, he was doing pretty good, but his cancer got the best of him and he was tired of the pain.
We are asking for your help to offset the funeral expenses so that we can give him the proper burial and sendoff that he deserves. Unfortunately, he did not have much life insurance, and as we all know funeral expenses are outrageous. Any amount large or small is greatly appreciated from the bottom of our hearts. We would need the funds fairly quickly, as the arrangements will be made for next week.
