Funeral Expenses for Zach Fitzgerald

2020 has been a difficult year for many of us for a variety of reasons. We have endured pain and strife that was unforeseen at the beginning of the year and worst still, some of us have experienced loss. Loss of work, a business, even loved ones and friends. 

This fundraiser has been organized because here in the Nashville region we have experienced a loss that none of us expected. Our dear friend Zach Fitzgerald passed on October 13th. Zach, or Fitzy depending on how well you knew him, was a bright light in our community. Regardless of what he was dealing with personally, he was always ready to greet you with a smile and listen to anything you had to say. 

I don’t think I’ve met anyone within the car community or otherwise who had a negative thing to say about Zach. Over the past two days, I’ve seen some incredibly heartfelt social media posts honoring his memory and have talked to many people who are heartbroken over this loss.

The one positive takeaway I have from this is that he was a friend to so many and viewed as a genuinely good person by all. That should be a lesson to us: to always put on a smile and try to brighten someone’s day, no matter what we’re going through. There is enough negativity out there as is, be a positive influence wherever possible. 

The goal of this fundraiser is to help cover the cost of Zach’s funeral arrangements. As a military service member, we would like to see him honored in the best way possible with a military funeral. Please join us in donating to this cause.
