Funeral Expenses For Richard (Rick) Eck

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Eck. Rick was a Patrick Henry High School Class of 1989 Grad, received a BS in Business from VCU, and was a retired Henrico Firefighter and a business owner. He grew up loving to play in the dirt, gardening, landscaping, fishing, and hunting. He loved his grandparent's farm and never wanted to leave it. Rick would give the shirt off his back and loved his country.

We are raising money to cover the costs of the funeral and memorial services for Rick's family as this passing was completely unexpected. Any excess money will be donated to the American Heart Association.

Eck Jr, Richard C., 53, of Beaverdam went home to be with the Lord Thursday, March 14, 2024. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Martha and Everett Williamson Jr. and Lois and Everett Eck.

Rick was a loving son, grandson, brother, uncle, and nephew. He is survived by his parents Richard Sr and Gwendolyn Eck. His brothers, Charles and his wife Jen, Nelson and his wife Sarah, and sister Martha and her husband John. He had two nephews, five nieces, 1 great nephew, 2 great nieces, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
