Funeral Expenses for Pedro Lopez

During the late hours of August 23rd the illness and heroine addiction that had stolen Pedro Lopez from his friends and our family, ultimately took his life. He died after an extended stay at Richmond University Hospital in Staten Island due to health complications. He found himself there after a heart attack necessitated an ambulance transport from the rehab facility he entered a week earlier. I was with him on his birthday (Aug 4th) and took him to rehab (the following day). Entering rehab his will and spirit were strong , his body unfortunately was not. He yearned to carry on this earth for his daughter Alaina.

His mother is currently accepting donations for funeral costs and other expenses. Anything above those costs will be put in an account to support his 18 month-old daughter and her mother.
