Funeral help for mom,Nancy Leveille

As many of you know our mom was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer on 11/4/17, and for those that don't here's a little bit of her story. Unfortunately it was found in the very end stages and was spreading rapidly. We were given a 90 day window of how much time we had left. Since her diagnosis she had been in and out of the ICU with many near death experiences from zero white blood cells and almost no platelets with an infection that was taking over quickly to a simple uti that thought it was going to get the best of her. In the last 1.5 months she fought it all off including being intubated 4 different times! Doctor's kept calling her the miracle they never thought they'd see. They couldn't believe that she came out of all the things they never said she would. She was able to go home for 8 days and enjoy family and her animals, but then on 12/14 a uti snuck up on us and we almost lost her. Which is what put her back in the hospital in the ICU for the last time. She was intubated again, and things were just different. We realized that she was tired of fighting so hard to keep ending back up in the ICU. They did a ct scan and found that the cancer had spread to most of her organs. They said then there was nothing more we could do for her at this point except make her comfortable. Mom decided that she didn't want any more intubation, and just wanted to let the disease take its course as she didn't want to say her goodbyes on a breathing tube. She was transferred to the Hospice House in Auburn Maine (who were absolutely amazing by the way!) on 12/19. We spent as much time with her as we possibly could. Making sure she got every thing she asked for if we could make it work. On 12/24 at 4:10pm she succumbed to the cancer as peacefully and pain free as we could make possible surrounded by her family and a long time friend one week before her 54th birthday :(

Because this all happened so quick we tried to get things in order for her, but there was just so much to do before she passed. Unfortunately she didn't have anything in place for funeral arrangements. My sister and I are trying the best we can to get scrape it together, but it is just so much more then we can get together at the moment. That's why I'm creating this campaign to help put her to rest like she deserves. Any little bit will help us get our mom her cremation she asked for and a small remembrance service after for everyone to get together and share in her memory. I thank all who have followed us in our journey with mom, and to all those that are just hearing of our story. If you can't donate at all that is absolutely ok and we understand. All we ask is to help us spread this around, so please share this campaign to reach as many people as possible to help us reach our goal.
