Our family lost our little sister Megan on July 9th from COVID. She was only 39 years old and leaves behind 5 children. Her youngest are 11 and 8. Megan was the best mommy in the world and the kids were her world and she was theirs. This is a sudden shock to all of us in the family. Megan had a huge heart and was like a sister and daughter to many. She helped anyone that she could with whatever she had, whether it was rides, a place to crash for the night or diapers or formula for her family members. She made sure her babies had everything they needed and that they got to enjoy all the activities and events that they loved, like NBA basketball and the San Antonio Spurs. Megan was the youngest of 6 children, our baby sister. I take a little comfort in knowing that our parents are waiting for her with open arms. I know that Megan would never have wanted to be a burden to anyone, especially her family or children. She had no life insurance and we need help to give her a proper funeral and to handle those expenses, so that they don't fall on her children. Anything helps, and we hope to reach our goal quickly. Since she was COVID positive, the funeral home wants to do things fast. Again, any amount helps or even sharing this so that others can see it. Thank you all so much. Please keep my sister's children in your prayers. I'm so sad that they have to live without her. They miss their mommy so much and the power of prayer is amazing!
