Funeral Expenses for Lydia

Donation protected
Thursday August 16, 2018 my world was shattered into pieces! I lost my heart, my life, my world, my baby girl! Mommy loves you so much Lydia Brielle Gentry!! Lydia was born on May 31, 2017. She was born with heart problems and had to fight all of her life! She spent over half of her life in and out of hospitals! She was the most happy baby I've ever known! Through all of the ups and downs, she never gave up! She always smiled and laughed! Her dad and I loved her with everything we have in us and will continue to love her forever! The decision we had to make today was far from easy! Little Miss Lydia was fine over the weekend and on Monday something changed! We had to take her to the er around lunch time on 3 liters of oxygen and by midnight she had went into cardiac arrest and was on a ventilator. She was unresponsive for 25 minutes before we were able to get her back. We were then med flighted to Cincinnati Children's Hospital in Ohio. Once we made it there, she wasn't peeing and her body was beginning to swell. We decided to start her on dyaliais in order to remove some of the fluid in hopes that it would be temporary and she would then come off of the vent. After a 24 hour EEG wasn't looking good, they decided to do a ct scan, which showed an extreme amount of swelling in the brain due to the 25 minutes without oxygen. Even though she had heart problems, that wasn't the cause of her gaining her beautiful wings! She had what appeared to be pneumonia and possibly another infection that consumed her quickly. Her kidneys were already shutting down and her brain showed no activity. Her heart was still functioning completely normal which made our decision even harder! But as her parents, we couldn't let her suffer and be in any pain! So we made the hardest decision we will ever be faced with! The next several days are going to be the hardest yet! With everything that has went on and with Lydia requiring 24/7 care, her dad was the only one who worked. We have no idea how we're going to pay for funeral expenses or the cost of transporting her 5 and a half hours back home! She had everything she needed and then some while she was here with us! We would love to be able to lay her to rest with the best of everything! She deserves this as the last thing we'll ever be able to do for her! If your able to donate, thank you!!! If not, say a prayer for our family and for my little Lydia!! Mommy and Daddy love you so much our precious angel!!!!
