Funeral Expenses for Lawanda Thomas

With a heavy heart, we ask for your help. One of our Gator moms, Lawanda Thomas, passed, early Tuesday morning October 10th. Ms. Thomas was a big Gator football fan and loved watching her favorite player, her son, Peyton Thomas play. 

Ms. Lawanda fought a long hard battle with Breast Cancer for almost 4 years. As you can imagine, the stress of medical bills piling up and over 60 trips to UAB for treatment took its toll financially on her and the family. Funeral expenses are high and the family is strugging to come up with the money to pay for a proper funeral for her. The family is grieving right now and the last thing we want them to worry about is more finances. We can cover the cost of the funeral if we have 63 people donate $100. If you  would like to make a donation outside of the Go Fund Me Account, you can do so by sending it to Satsuma High School with attention to Coach Thomas. Checks can be written out to Marlon Wade.  Anyone who knew Ms. Thomas, knows that she had a huge heart and would help anyone who needed it. Please consider helping her famly in their time of need.
