Dear family, friends and even strangers:
Kendi Dawn Farr is the wife and mother to Eric Farr and their son, Aspen. Tragedy struck their little family on Friday, January 14th, 2022 as Kendi unexpectedly passed away.
Kendi and Eric knew each other well growing up. They dated in their younger years, but really found their flame for each other in 2009. They followed their hearts and were wed shortly after on December 12, 2009.
Kendi packed up and left Parkersburg, WV to be her Sailor’s wife. They first lived in Baltimore, MD and then were relocated to Hawaii. While in a tropical paradise, their love bloomed into a whole new adventure called parenthood.
Meet Aspen Leon Farr. He made his arrival on July 24, 2011. He is the very best of both his mommy and his daddy all rolled into one little boy.
They didn’t sleep for months, but he was well worth every late night. Parenthood was the adventure they’d always wanted. By May of 2012, it was time for this family of three to move back home to Parkersburg.
It wasn’t an easy move on their little family. Money was tight and some days were harder than others, but they always had love for each other and their little boy. This love will undoubtedly live on forever in the hearts of Eric and Aspen.
None of us could have imagined that she would have left us at the young age of 34. They weren’t prepared with savings or life insurance to pay for the funeral expenses, but their ten year old son deserves to see his mommy’s life celebrated.
If you are able, we are asking for contributions of any amount to go directly to the cost of the funeral service being held on Tuesday, January 18th, 2022.
