Funeral Expenses for Javier Flores

On Saturday, August 5th, Javier Flores Sr. passed from this world. He was a loving father, husband, grandfather and a dear friend to many. He was a man full of joy, full of compassion, and an inspiration to all who knew him. He emigrated from Mexico with his family at just 28 years old, and speaking no English. Those early years were a struggle, supporting a family of 6 working as a waiter, but Javier was a hard-working man who strongly believed that anything was possible, and when asked how he managed, he would say “You never know what you’re capable of until you try.”  His greatest hope was that his children could live the American dream, and he lived to see that come true.  He made the most of every day, enjoying time with his wife of 37 years, their kids and their two grandsons. He had a passion for everything he did, and he enjoyed outings to the lake with his family, ski trips, restoring classic cars, and retaining his title as one of the worst joke-tellers you could ever meet. In his later years, his greatest joy was to show the world to his wife. This GoFundMe is to help ease the burden of funeral costs.
