Funeral Expenses for Foust Family

By now, we are all aware of the great tragedy that has befallen the Foust Family.

Carolynne and Gerald were amazing teachers for so many of us. For myself, Mrs. Foust was my first teacher ever in Kindergarten at Mark Center, and inspired in me a love of learning that has never stopped. I bet many of us have our own Mrs. Foust, or Mr. Foust story.

A number of us also grew up with both Curt and Courtney, their children. 

I became friends with Curt as I was entering high school, as we were both on the Fairview Cross Country team and he would often pick me up for summer practice. As the years passed, our friendship continued and I assisted Curt as he became the Boys head coach for the Fairview Cross Country program.

To many of us, Curt was our coach. To many of us, Curt was our teacher at Fairview Elementary. To many of us, Curt was our friend.

I spoke with Curt yesterday morning, and asked if I could assist in raising money for the funeral/memorial for Carolynne and Gerald.

Anything to help Curt, Courtney, their families, and the extended Foust family, in this time of unimaginable grief, is appreciated. If they get enough to cover funeral expenses, Curt and Courtney will use any excess funds to cover related expenses as Curt and Courtney see fit.
