Funeral Costs for Brennan Lacefield

If you know the Lacefield family, you know how absolutely amazing they are, the struggles they have gone through bringing their family into this world, and the devastating losses they have experienced.
This family was dealt another devastating hand of pregnancy complications with Brennan Michael. Dejay and Fred found out Brennan had a hernia which caused his organs to shift, preventing full functionality. In addition to his hernia, the doctor informed the family that Baby Brennan's brain was underdeveloped.
On August 22, 2018, Dejay unexpectedly went into labor a month early and had to have an emergency C-section. Brennan was born that afternoon at 3:52 PM. Due to the complexity of his medical issues, Brennan was rushed to NICU. Sweet Brennan fought as hard as he could, but unfortunately passed away at 11:52 pm. He was 8 hours and 3 minutes old. While he has left his loving parents, he is now at rest. His time was brief but his impact on Dejay, Fred, their families and all of us will be remembered forever.
As a close friend of Dejay and Fred, I am doing two things- I am first asking for as many continuous prayers as possible for Dejay's health and healing for the whole family. No one ever expects to lose a child, and the impact can hit harder than even finances may help.
Next, I am trying to raise money to help them with Brennan's funeral expenses and basic expenses. Since Dejay has not been working due to the pregnancy complications, the bills have been mounting up. Mostly, Dejay and Fred want to be able to provide Brennan with funeral services that show their love for their sweet boy. When a parent loses a child, often times the parent feels the funeral may be their last gift to their child.
Please take a moment and say a prayer for this beautiful family. If you are able, please remember all of the times they have been there for you as a shoulder to lean on, a friend to laugh with, or a hug to hold you tight. This is a wonderful family and they are raising wonderful children. There is no amount too small to help
