Brian and Mindy Sznyr are a wonderful loving married couple who created their first life together February 7th, 2017. Mindy had an uncomplicated and happy pregnancy until September 30th, 2017. 36 weeks into the pregnancy she could no longer feel movement and without any symptoms. Baby Xander James Sznyr had passed away before he truly had a chance to live. He will be held in God's hands and forever in our hearts. He was loved long before the first moment he existed and has always been supported and loved by his parents, family, and friends. If love could have kept him here, he would have lived forever.
In this time of tragedy and sadness so many people have reached out with prayers and well wishes. The parents Mindy and Brian accept and are thankful for all of it. They express heartfelt appreciation and are overwhelmed. Prayers are the only thing they are asking for, they state they have no need for anything else.
However, people keep reaching out to ask what they can do so this fundraiser was started by the godmother of Xander (Heather) because funerals cost money. Don't give anything that you cannot. Don't give anything you don't wish to. But if you are able to, any contributions will go to Mindy and Brian for Xander's funeral. If the only thing you can give is well wishes, that's all they want.
No concrete plans are set yet but they might have an intimate service and funeral for family and close friends. They might be getting a plot for their son at St. Hedwig's Cemetery in Dearborn Heights. Any and all donations will go to Mindy and Brian for the plot, gravestone, and service for their son.
