Freddie's family (wife, 3 daughters and 1 son) live in Mexico, save his son, his wife is wanting Freddie's body returned to Mexico for a final place of rest.
Over 35 years Freddie worked in Cleburne and sent money back to his family faithfully every week. His adopted family was his co-workers and his many friends he made while living in Cleburne. Freddie was always smiling...although his English was very limited, he could speak volumes with his eyes and his smile or "frown!" You knew what he was saying without a doubt.
Freddie rode his bicycle everyday to work, rain or shine, snow or heat he would always be at his workplace. The only time he would be late or early would be on those daylight saving day changeovers...he would always forget to set his clock to the new time! "I sorry patron!" would be his first words when he did arrive with that great big smile...all one could say is "okay Freddie remember next time!" as he grabbed the dishes and began to play catch-up. Within minutes all was well with the world and Freddie. Freddie excelled at his work of washing dishes...he did it with a flair.
Our prayers and thoughts are extended to his family that he truly loved and worked for...even on his last day on this earth.
RIP Freddie, may your eternal life make you smile as much as you made your friends and family smile during your 69 years!
