Funeral expenses for Alex Lazo

On Monday, April 17, 2017, our family was forever changed by the untimely death of our dear son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, Alex Lazo (19 years old).
The family is so devastated and confused and my wish is to reach out to those that loved him, in hopes to raise some money to help reduce some of the financial burden that goes with this tragedy.
A message from Alex's mother (posted to Facebook on Tuesday): Please pray for our family. Yesterday our beautiful Alex took his own life. We are so devastated and confused. I know this is not the proper way to notify our friends and family, but we need your prayers and support now. We love you so much Alex and our hearts are broken.
A message from Alex's sister (posted to Facebook today): On Monday the unimaginable happened. My sweet little brother took his own life. Words cannot describe the pain and confusion my family is feeling. He was a gift to the world and to our family. He always made people smile and he loved his family and friends more than anything. Kaden will miss his uncle Alex and I will miss my beloved brother. Please pray for my family and especially my parents. The pain and shock is unbearable. Alex loved going on adventures, which was where he found his happy place. Having to continue on without him will be the hardest adventure yet to come.
His celebration of life service will be held on his 20th birthday, April 27th at 12pm. The venue will be at North Coast Church- Vista. All are welcome to attend.
Alex will be missed by so many. We appreciate your prayers and any donations you can make to help ease this burden. No parent should ever have to say goodbye to their babies.
