Anthony Jerome Pinder – age 52 – died September 30th 2018 in Miami, Florida.
At about 7:00 am on Sunday September 30th, Anthony left his house to take an early morning “prayer walk” – as he often liked to do. Not far from his house, he suffered a heart attack and later passed away at the hospital. Anthony leaves behind a loving wife of twenty-four years, Vickie and his beloved daughters Ashley –age 22, and Alana - age 17 as well as a large and close family in his birthplace, the Bahamas.
Loved by so many family and friends, Anthony was always ready with a word of encouragement and smile for those who knew him. A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering graduate of Florida International University, former employee at IBM Bahamas, and current Science Teacher at Archbishop Coleman Carroll High School, Anthony touched so many lives in both small and large ways. He gave his best every day, loved deeply those around him and had a sustained faith in God. One of his favorite and guiding Bible verses was James 1:2-3 “Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.”
