Funeral expense for Karen Mortensen

Today was a very hard day.  We lost a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, wife, nurse, and friend that passed away unexpectedly.   Karen was a devoted caregiver to all and always put others before herself.  Her friends described her as gifted, caring, a friend to all, selfless, spunky, a little spitfire, bubbly, passionate, and a bright ray of sunshine.

Her family and friends would like to understand why she was taken away from us so suddenly and have requested an autopsy to help answer their questions.  Unfortunately the costs associated with the autopsy and the funeral expenses are more than the family can manage.

Karen impacted each and every one of our lives.  Let's come together as a community to show the family just how much Karen meant to all of us.
