UPDATE 9/29/17 10:00 pm: JC’s memorial service was this evening. Thank you for your support, which covered all of the costs ($2,400) at the funeral home for Elizabeth and her family. We were also able to give Elizabeth $350 in additional money that was raised by 5:00 pm today. Any money raised from now on will also go directly to Elizabeth to help support her and their family at this difficult time. Thank you for your continued kindness and generosity.
UPDATE 9/25/17: THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH FOR HELPING US TO REACH OUR GOAL. ALL OF JC's FUNERAL COSTS ($2,400) ARE NOW COVERED. Any additional money raised will go directly to JC's wife, Elizabeth. The funeral home was paid today (Monday, 9/25/17) by phone on my credit card. Money will not be withdrawn from the GoFundMe account until I have confirmation that the payment to the funeral home has gone through. The memorial services for JC have been scheduled and confirmed for this coming Friday, September 29th. There will be visiting hours and a memorial service from 5 pm to 8 pm at Compagnola Funeral Home at 4405 North 5th Street, in Philadelphia. Original post: As most of you know, our incredible friend and colleague, JC Ramos, passed away on September 21 after a long battle with cancer. We are raising money to help pay for the costs of his funeral ($2400). We are also trying to raise some extra money for his beloved wife, Elizabeth, to help support her and all of the pets that meant so very much to JC. Please be as generous as you can and please share this fundraiser with as many people as you can.
Elizabeth is completely heartbroken by the loss of JC, and she sends her thanks for your thoughts, prayers and generosity at this intensely difficult time.
