Funeral Costs for Geavuntae Sherman

On Monday evening, June 20th. 22 year old Geavuntea was attending a birthday party for a family member at a local park. A group of adults from another party were hassling his little sister. When they started giving Dayshanay a hard time, he cane over to ask that people act like adults. One of the group pulled a gun and shot him.

His sister, Dayshanay and others called 911 and were all put on hold. She ran to her mom's car, drove to the playground, picked him up and starting driving to the hospital.  

 

While driving to the hospital, and trying to flag down police, Geavuntea died in his sisters arms.

 

This fund will help pay for funeral and burial costs. No amount of money will replace him.
