Funeral costs for Amethyst Msters

Amethyst Masters was born on Oct. 17th 2017. Upon birth she was admitted into NICU until Oct. 24th 2017, on that day Rebecca was allowed to take Amethyst home. Before this Beautiful baby was born she was diagnosed with Trisomy 18.

Trisomy 18 (also known as Edwards Syndrome) is a rare medical condition where there are 3 chromosomes instead of the usual pair. (For example a baby with down syndrome will have 3 couples for chromosome 21, rather than the usual pair.) Trisomy 18 affects about 6,000 to 8,000 live births.  These children can have developmental delays, as well as birth defects and health problems involving nearly every organ system in the body. Unfortunately, 50% of these children will not make it to birth and only about 12% will make it to their first birthdays.

Before Amethyst was born Drs told Rebbecca and Ben masters that there was only a 1% chance that amethyst would make it to birth. Despite this very rare condition and the slim chance of servival Amethyst was born. The day she was born was the happiest day of Rebbeca and Ben's lives. Although her presence on this earth was only a short 4 months, she changed many lives.  God hasa new angel with him in heven as of Feb. 18th 2018.
