Teresa was an extremely selfless and generous person, she was also a wonderful Mother and Grandmother who found great joy from the simple things in life, such as family and friends and the odd get away. I got to know Teresa over the years through our shared support and passion for Liverpool Football Club, her love of the team was unwavering and I could spend forever and a day talking about her loyalty, knowledge and interest in all things L.F.C but I would rather share with you the lengths to which she would go to help others and be there for people when they were at their most vulnerable. If I had a penny for every person she dedicated her personal time and effort towards in order to better those peoples lives I would not have to try and raise money here.
With her support I became a better person, our friendship blossomed and we met up every chance we got, as our bond strengthened she became a big influence on me and were it not for Teresa the love of my life Jennifer would have slipped through my hands.
I cannot imagine my life without Jenny who will always remind me of Teresas efforts to ensure my happiness.
Teresa had battled Cancer many years ago and upon recovery after several years she managed to make her Dream of moving from Blackpool To her Spiritual home of Liverpool come true. As a bus driver she was so happy to drive people around the streets and outskirts of Liverpool and had just about settled in her new job and home when she was once again diagnosed with Cancer only this time it was an inoperable tumor on her spine, it was only a matter of time and making life bearable and yet she somehow found the courage to be optimistic, remain positive and look on the bright side whilst giving so much of her time to Liverpool Supporters groups and enjoying the time she had left by surrounding herself with family and friends.
She was prepared for this sad but inevitable outcome, she had a little book that she used to prepare for her death and the needs thereafter.
The reason we are looking to raise money is to help give her and her relatives the Burial she deserves, Teresa had prepared for this but SunLife decided not to pay the insurance due to a technicality leaving a grieving family with more to burden them during this extremely difficult time.
We are looking to raise money as soon as possible to give this lady the send off she not only deserves but has earned 100 times over.
Her Daughter Charlene Allen will be the beneficiary and all monies raised will be used towards Funeral Expenses.
To those of you who knew Teresa I urge you to remember how her sparkly smile used to brighten up your day and to those of you who did not know of her please remember just how much of a difference a single Euro Or Pound would make.
