Funeral and Hospital expenses for Uncle Rany

My uncle Ranulfo Cadungog died on Novmeber 11, 2020 (US date) at 5:43 AM in Mandaue City, Philippines of a heart attack.  He was a kind, loving, and gentle man that knew how to make other people smile. I remember hearing stories about him from my mother while growing up and how much she loved him. So when I finally got to meet him in person several years ago it was great to see him and how much of what she said was true.  While there he even taught me to climb a coconut tree (for which I was not really successful) and that a dressing room can be comedy hour.

He was a light to the family, full of laughs, and always smiling. He is survived by two children and a large family that loved him more than anything. Unfortunately, for our large family in the Philippines, they are the same family that I held a fundraiser for last year when their entire compound went up in flames and they and many other families lost everything they had except the clothes on their backs, so they have been slowly rebuilding their lives since then.

I am trying to raise enough to help cover hospital expenses and funeral costs at this time. While those family members here in the USA have sent what we can, expenses still remain. The hospital bill ended up being 81,885 Pesos (about $1400 USD) and 32,000 Pesos (almost $600 USD) for the funeral.  Any amount you can donate would be greatly appreciated.
