Funeral Cost for Jason Laney

I am a long lifelong friend of Ashley and to hear of the passing of her husband Jason is heartbreaking. I have created this page for her without her even knowing just to take some of this weight off her shoulders. If you know her then you know Jason was the sole source of income for this family of four and right now Ashley needs to focus on her children and not have to worry about money until she can get on her feet. I set the goal of this page to 10,000 which many of your know that’s about what a funeral alone cost. Please keep her and these babies in your prayers they need all they can get. Below is the story of what happend I shared from her personal page. Any amount will help.



As many of my friends may or may not know: Jason (the love of my life) was stung Monday by a “bee” according to his last text to me,.he is highly allergic to them, he went in to Anaphylaxis Shock because he went with out oxygen for 28 minutes. He fought so hard for the last 4.5 hours in the hospital in a coma. On Friday we ( immediate) family met with the ICU doctor and based on his diagnosis on Friday am and the results of the testing that was done on Thursday. Jason’s parents, sister, and my self agrees Jason would never be able to live a “meaningful life with his family or ever be Jason again ( with out a HUGE miracle ). We have prayed, asked for prayers from anyone because his “meaningful” life is in Gods hands and the changes we longed to see just were not there do to the brain injury. So we made the hardest decision to pull Jason off of life support yesterday am, so at 9 am we started working with hospice to make him as comfortable as possible, I could not bear to see him in pain any more not could my in laws and sister in-law.

So to conclude this post : Jason gained his gorgeous angel wings at 3:20 pm Saturday afternoon. I am beyond heartbroken and filled with so many different emotions. My self and our children along withy in-laws and sister in-law really just prayers as we move forward. My whole life has for ever been changed and I know I have a few friends on here that if felt lead could offer a shoulder to cry on, arms to wrap around us, advice, etc. I beg you to please reach out to me I am so loss, scared, confused, heart broken most of all!!!!!

Jason and I moved back to Augusta several years ago to be near long life friends and family. We did not necessarily get the response we were looking for but I was able to meet new amazing friends. Jason and I really Did not have a lot of visitors since we have been back and I have been told company will be very important as we all heal. I have to be honest last night when the night got later and friends had to leave I was so scared to be alone with just my children. But my bff stayed with me last night and has not left my side since she traveled to Augusta to be with my family during this heart breaking but she will have to leave my families side today because her family needs her.

Please please be considerate and respectful of my children this is new for all of us. If you have children who are friends of mine children’s please please ask them to not ask questions about Jason’s death better just offer you love to each of them with out questions.

I will not ever be able to thank everyone for the prayers, love, kind gestures, and etc. that has been shown to our family.
