I cannot begin to describe exactly how I feel today. On 12/26/17 I witnessed the sudden passing of my eldest Bother to a yet unexplainable cardiac arrest.
To try to explain what my Brother meant to me in a few words is impossible. He did everything right by his family and always put everyone above himself. I have always looked up to him, because he always set a great example on how to navigate through life as an honest hard working person. He's my hero, and not only did I lose my brother but in a lot of ways I've lost a father figure in my life.
Miguel Angel Mena was 38 years old and he leaves behind his wife and 4 kids. My brother was the sole provider for his household and it will no doubt become difficult for his family to continue without him.
Just the idea of having to put together these words for anyone that will listen is hard enough, but the reality of a financial need is one that has to be dealt with.
This is the best thing I could think of doing for him and his family in a time when I feel so lost and helpless.
I come to you all today to ask for your charity. Any and all funds donated to this campaign will go directly to my brothers family to help with funeral expenses and serve as a cushion for them financially as they go through this phase of their lives without their father. I will personally be making sure these funds get to them
