Funeral ceremony for Phin Ny

Donation protected
On Tuesday, August 22, 2017, my beautiful, loving mother had passed away after suffering from a heart attack. My sister and I had to make the most difficult decision ever in our lives. It was either telling the doctors to revive her or let her go peacefully. Our decision came to a conclusion to “do not resuscitate” her (DNR) because given the fact that she was already so weak and in doing so, her bones wouldn’t be able to handle the pressure and it would cause her even more pain. She passed away at 11:40pm that night.

She was a single mother of two daughters and a grandmother of 4 grandchildren. She was a fighter struggling with colorectal cancer also known as colon cancer since 2016. She developed a tumor in her colon and just a few months ago they had to remove it.

Her passion was cooking delicious home cooked meals. She enjoyed pleasing anyone with her cooking whenever they visited. Her favorites weren’t chocolate but any type of jewelry that stood out to her. She would rock it even if it was real or fake as long as it looked stylish, she loved them all! My mother loved to dance and enjoy the company of her friends and family at events.

I remember her beautiful smile. Every time anyone would see her she’d have her sweet smile to greet or mean mug you (lol) that's where I got it from. She would always remind me how bad she felt about not making me spring rolls while I was hiding my pregnancy with my daughter. Just knowing that was always on the back of her mind, I knew she cared. I’m just so glad that I got to visit on her last days of her being here. My mom was striving to live and love us from the bottom of her heart. Unfortunately, she was taken away from us too soon. On the upside she is no longer suffering. She will be truly missed.

Due to her untimely passing, I am trying to raise money to cover the cost of her funeral ceremony (Buhn), cremation, and her resting place. After speaking with a consultant, a funeral alone would cost us $10000

My family and I want to thank you in advance for any donations and prayers while we are in this time of grief.
